Rod, can you please tell me about a little more about what you are looking for? Are you looking for some technical charting course? Also have you had a look at the free education area on the ASX website? Cheers!

Hi,
Do you know where I can find (for free of course!) the historical hour-by-hour performance of the ASX or All Ords on a daily basis...?
Many thanks,
Rod.

Niko...thanks for the links. I would think that quite a few countries are getting orders in for a whole range of commodities at current prices but at the end of the day the BDI has hardly surged, it might look impressive over a few months but when you look at the longer term the BDI is just coming off a very low base.

I am not reading too much into the BDI at this stage, it is just one of many indicators that may suggest the global economy is starting to slowly recover. Of course if people keep losing their jobs then this is going to make it hard for any recovery to have legs. So I guess the next thing we should be looking for is for unemployment data to improve in the U.S, Japan and Europe. (not sure how reliable the data is out of China?)

Some commentaries have suggested the Baltic Index is being fueled by unusually bad grain results.
